Join forces to fight lies about Iran deal

After years of tough negotiations, the U.S., our allies, and Iran reached a historic deal to cut off Iran's pathways to a nuclear weapon without resorting to war. This verifiable deal is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win without war.

Hawks in the media are fighting hard to kill this deal before the ink is even dry. Right-wing writers like John Bolton, champion of the Iraq War, and former Vice President Dick Cheney are spreading lies about this deal because they would rather that we, in Bolton's words, "bomb, bomb Iran."

That's why the readers of this news paper should write to their elected officials to support the Iran treaty.
