Mariano's developers to come to Des Plaines meeting
Representatives from the proposed Mariano's in Des Plaines will speak at Alderman Dick Sayad's upcoming 4th Ward meeting on Aug. 6.
Officials involved in the project, as well as Community Development Director George Sakas will talk about the proposed grocery store on the northeast corner of Golf and Mount Prospect roads.
In May, the city council approved a financial incentive deal to lure Mariano's to the site, where a vacant bus company facility sits.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Golf Road Baptist Church, 501 W. Golf Road.
