Palatine Park District Conducts Pet Food Drive

Food For Our 4-Legged Friends, a pet food drive, is being conducted by the Palatine Park District Staff Service Committee through July 30. Items that are being collected during this pet food drive include dry cat or dog food, canned cat or dog food, cat treats, and dog biscuits. Donations will be delivered to Palatine Township Food Pantry, which provides pet food so that the clients in need of food can provide food to their four-legged family members as well. This is the committee's 3rd pet food drive event.

Items can be dropped off at four locations throughout the Park District including Community Center, 250 E. Wood Street; Birchwood Recreation Center, 435 W. Illinois Avenue; Falcon Park Recreation Center, 2195 N. Hicks Road; and Palatine Stables, 1510 W. Northwest Hwy. Donations will also be accepted at the Park District's Canine Carnival on July 30 at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Registered Canine Carnival participants who donate at the event will receive an additional free

Raffle ticket.
