Fitness For America Festival in Hoffman Estates

The 2015 Fitness For America Sports Festival will be held in Hoffman Estates Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26.

The seventh annual festival, now sponsored by AMITA Health, will feature inline skating and running events for all fitness levels, and several new features, including a GLO run after dark.

On July 25, there will be a Sunset Half Marathon with cash prizes, a 10K run and a 5K run/walk. All distances offer scenic courses through north Hoffman Estates, the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve and the AT&T complex on roads and paved trails.

On July 26, the Chicagoland Inline Marathon takes the course along with a half marathon and 10K.
