State Rep. Moeller to host citizen advisory committees

State Rep. Anna Moeller, D-Elgin, has announced upcoming meetings of her citizen advisory committees.

"Citizen advisory committees are critical to my efforts to remain accessible to constituents," Moeller said. "I benefit a great deal as a legislator from the knowledge and ideas of local residents and stakeholders."

Moeller regularly hosts citizen advisory committee meetings to help her better represent the views of constituents and update taxpayers on current matters pending before the General Assembly. Her upcoming advisory committee meetings will be held in the Professional Building at 164 Division St. in downtown Elgin on these dates and times.

• Senior Issues Advisory Committee, 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, Suite 110.

• Education Advisory Committee, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, Suite 202.

• Public Safety Advisory Committee, 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, Suite 110.

• Economic Development & Job Creation Advisory Committee, 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 6, Suite 110.

"My goal is to expand these committees to bring in as diverse an array of perspectives as possible," Moeller added. "I look forward to continuing the discussion in these committees about how we can work together to keep our state heading in the right direction."
