Believe Project: $100 for a friend who lost husband, daughter to cancer

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Sue Johnson of Hoffman Estates.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"I would give $100 to my co-worker, Rose. Her husband died of leukemia several years ago. Then, three years ago, her daughter passed away after a lengthy battle with colon cancer, leaving behind a husband and twin 8-year-old daughters. Soon after, they moved to Texas and Rose misses the girls she helped raise, especially while her daughter was sick. Rose has been depressed lately due to money issues, she's been wearing a walking boot for four months while her foot heals, and she misses her daughter and granddaughters. I think $100 would just brighten her day!"

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
