Ufheil's hat trick helps Lake Zurich top Prospect

Danielle Ufheil scored 3 goals, as Lake Zurich's girls soccer team defeated host Prospect 5-1 Tuesday.
Prospect jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, before Lake Zurich (1-1) stormed back to take a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Nicole Rasiarmos scored the Bears' first goal, assisted by Madeline Blasko. Ufheil then tallied goals off assists from Emily Udelhoven and Devon Kennedy. Rasiarmos assisted on Ufheil's hat-trick goal in the second half, and Rebecca Kubin capped the Lake Zurich scoring off another assist from Rasiarmos.
Bears goalie Elly Daleske made 4 saves. She received help on the back line from Blair Coughenour, Maggie Tuckey, Meagan Bens and Siena Robertson.
Round Lake 4, Woodstock North 0: Michelle Hernandez had 2 goals and an assist for the Panthers in their season opener.
Evelyn Ramirez and Jasmine Cruz also scored, while Stephanie Figueroa had 2 assists. Round Lake keeper Jordan Devera made 4 saves in earning the shutout.
Antioch 2, Grayslake North 2: Tessa Furlong and Mikayla Abbeduto scored for Antioch, which trailed 2-0 at halftime. Ella Roberts earned the assist on both goals for Antioch (0-1-1).
Crystal Lake Central 1, Grant 0: The Tigers scored the game's only goal in the second half.
Carmel 4, Lake Forest 2: McKenzie Runyan scored twice, as the Corsairs improved to 2-0 in their own quad.
Kayla Handel and Megan Runyan also had goals for Carmel.
