Whatever it's called, Rauner solving problem

Time for all of us to change our language. Gov. Rauner isn't anti-union; he's trying to solve the problem of restoring a reasonable balance between the power of public unions and the interests of the citizens of Illinois.

It's well documented that politicians of both parties have catered to the interests of public unions for their own purposes. The result is that most of the wage and pension agreements our state and local governments have made with public unions are unaffordable. Just look at the state pension crisis.

Let's stop calling this anti-union and start calling it what it is: problem solving.
