To help seniors learn about available technology services, state Rep. Rita Mayfield of Waukegan and AT&T, will host a free technology seminar Monday, March 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Waukegan Township Senior Center, 414 S. Lewis Ave., Waukegan. "It can be difficult to keep up with the ever-changing technological landscape," Mayfield said. "The technology experts at this event will be able to answer questions about everything ranging from broadband Internet to smartphones." The seminar is designed to give local seniors the opportunity to learn more about technology and replacing landline phones with cellular service. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with an AT&T representative about any other technology-related questions. For more information, contact Mayfield's full-time constituent service office at (847) 599-2800.
