The cold weather isn't going anywhere; wind chill advisory tonight
Highs the next several days will struggle to break out of the single digits, with a wind chill advisory set to take effect at 6 p.m. today until noon Thursday according to the National Weather service.
Highs today should be 5 to 12 degrees, with wind gusts up to 30 mph. The wind will make it feel like it's 5 to 15 degrees below zero during the day.
Lows tonight should be anywhere from 2 to 10 degrees below zero. Wind guts up to 35 mph will push wind chills to as low as 30 below zero in some areas.
Thursday, the forecast calls for some sun and highs between 3 to 7 degrees. Wind chills in the morning could range from 20 to 30 degrees below zero.
Lows Thursday night should range from 4 to 10 degrees below zero.
A little bit of a thaw is on tap for Friday, with highs around 20 degrees.
