Bucknell beats Loyola (Md) 75-61

BALTIMORE (AP) - Chris Hass scored 26 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Bucknell to a 75-61 win over Loyola (Md.) on Wednesday night.

Hass did it with 10-of-15 shooting from the field including four from beyond the arc. Steven Kaspar added 14 points off the bench for the Bison (10-10, 5-2 Patriot League) and Nana Foulland had 10 points and seven rebounds.

John Azzinaro sank a pair of back-to-back 3-pointers late in the first half to give Bucknell a 33-25 lead with 3:31 left in the period and the Bison were up 36-28 at the break.

A trio of 3s by Hass made it 50-38 with 13:05 to play. The Greyhounds (7-11, 3-4) pulled to within seven, 61-54, on a Tyler Hubbard 3-pointer with 6:20 left but the team never got closer and Bucknell cruised to the win.

Andre Walker scored 17 points for the Greyhounds.
