Chamber summit to discuss Barrington region economy
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 2015 annual economic summit, "State of the Barrington Region," from 8-10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at The Garlands of Barrington. Many of the area's most influential community leaders will discuss current economic conditions and what lies ahead for the Barrington regional economy; review the past year in their communities; provide updates on local development; and examine the issues that impact local businesses. Understanding where we are now, and knowing where we're going, is vital to the economic health and prosperity of the Barrington region.
Invited panelists include village presidents or their designees: Karen Darch of Barrington; Martin McLaughlin of Barrington Hills; Bob Kellermann of Deer Park; John Tatooles of Inverness; Nandia Black of Kildeer; Kevin Richardson of Lake Barrington; Angie Underwood of Long Grove; Albert Pino of North Barrington; Shannon Yeaton of Port Barrington; Paula McCombie of South Barrington; and Kathleen Leitner of Tower Lakes.
The summit is open to the public; registration is required. Cost: $30 for members or a table of eight for $220; guests $40. Includes hot breakfast buffet. Event sponsorship ($250) includes a half page ad in event program, name on event signage and two tickets.
