Free open house at Palatine's Community Fitness Center on Jan. 10

Palatine Park District's Community Fitness Center will host a free Open House from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10. The fitness center is on the upper level of Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine, offering an affordable and convenient fitness option in the heart of Palatine.

This event is free and open to the public and will include membership specials for both new and renewing members. Personal trainers will be on hand to answer questions and provide fitness demonstrations and equipment orientations.

Free health screenings including blood pressure and body fat analysis will be available and staff members from Northwest Community Hospital will be on hand to answer questions. Fitness class demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day and the event will also include free giveaways and raffles.
