Images: Mundelein Home Explosion
One person is confirmed dead from a Mundelein house explosion and fire that occurred on the village's north side shortly before noon Friday.
Lake County Deputy Coroner Orlando Portillo said in addition to the fatality, a person who was in the house was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
