January computer classes at Schaumburg library

Computer classes ranging from basic to advanced have January openings at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The price for Schaumburg Township residents is $12 per person per class. Nonresidents pay $17, and seniors age 50 and over pay $9.

Each class lasts approximately two hours, with registration and payment required prior to attending.

A basic Windows 8 class will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9. A Word (Level 1) class will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, and an Excel (Level 1) class will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11.

An advanced Access (Level 1) class takes place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25. An Excel Charts class will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, followed by an Excel Data Analysis class at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18.
