One hurt in three-car crash in Rolling Meadows

One man was injured Sunday in a three-vehicle crash around 6:45 p.m. just west of the intersection of Kirchoff Road and Meadow Drive in Rolling Meadows, according to fire officials.

Battalion Chief Jeff Moxley of the Rolling Meadows Fire Department said the man was taken to Lutheran General Hospital.

Moxley said the crash involved two SUVs and a pickup truck, only one of which had a passenger as well as a driver. He said the man was the driver of one of the vehicles but he was not sure which.

Traffic has been completely shut off along that stretch of Kirchoff Road so the Rolling Meadows Police Department can conduct their investigation into what caused the crash, Moxley said.

Rolling Meadows Police investigators were not available for comment immediately following the crash Sunday night.
