Arlington Lakes path still not safe

Well, hello again. Guess what? The divided path around Lake Arlington is as unsafe as it ever was. Walkers runners, and mommies and daddies with baby carriages going in two different directions down a narrow path and picture this (if you haven't experienced it) bikers and skaters just inches away going at breakneck speeds down an adjacent, narrow path.

Step over the painted line and ... disaster. Come on - do we need another casualty? By the time something really constructive is done, somebody is going to get hurt or worse. As I walk the path, I repeatedly hear people complaining and saying, "I can't come here anymore; it is too dangerous."

All those town meetings about safety at the lake were well intended but ineffective. A severe lack of safety and ergo, personal security, has trumped the relaxed enjoyment of this beautiful facility.
