District 79 board vacancy

Fremont Elementary District 79 is seeking applicants interested in filling a school board vacancy to replace Sandra Bickley, who announced her resignation Monday, Sept. 22, because she is relocating from the area. The board will select Bickley's replacement through an application/interview process. The successful applicant will serve until Bickley's remaining term of office expires April 7, 2015. Application packets are available in the District 9 office, 28855 North Fremont Center Road, Mundelein, during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. An eligible candidate must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old, a resident of the state of Illinois and District 79 for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment, and a registered voter.
