The Ela and Cuba Township Democrats will sponsor a candidate meet-and-greet in Kildeer on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will take place at the home of Tim Jackson, 22395 W. Thornridge, Kildeer. Among the candidates who will speak are Lt. Governor candidate Paul Vallas and 6th District Congressional candidate Michael Mason. Also attending will be Lake County candidates Jason Patt, who is running for sheriff, clerk candidate Janet Kilkelly, treasurer candidate Glenn Ryback and county board candidate Mike Jennings. "This free event will also feature food and drink, a raffle and a chance to mingle with the candidates.
