College of Lake County hosts "Esperanza Gama: A Series of Memories" art exhibit

The art show "Esperanza Gama: A Series of Memories" is on display at College of Lake County's Robert T. Wright Gallery in Grayslake.

Gama, an artist based in Chicago, was born and educated in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her work depicts important and historical Mexican women, and has been shown in several solo and group exhibits throughout the United States and Mexico.

Gama's exhibit is in memory of her father, Alejandro Gama, and is on display through Sept. 28.
