Stevenson d. Mundelein: At Crane's Landing, Myra Peterson and Stephanie Namkoong each shot a 40 to tie for medalist honors, and the Patriots opened North Suburban Conference action by shooting a 172 to beat visiting Mundelein (209).

Stevenson also counted the scores of freshmen Olivia Hancock (45) and Olivia Stomberg (47).

Holly Petlak's 47 paced Mundelein.

Carmel d. St. Viator: At Old Orchard Country Club, the visiting Corsairs opened defense of their East Suburban Catholic Conference championship by shooting a season-best 167 to defeat St. Viator (232).

Leading Carmel was medalist Alexa Amato with a 39. Fellow junior Kayla Ryan shot a 41, sophomore Erin Kehoe had a 43, and junior Eva Savovich carded a 44.

Vernon Hills d. Grant: At Vernon Hills Golf Course, Kari Lee fired a 38, as the host Cougars carded a 175 to win the North Suburban Conference match.

Vernon Hills (2-0) also got a 42 from Faith Jung, a 45 from Fayth Kim and a 50 from Mary Paulson.

Grant (233) received matching 56s from Bri Burgeson and Kylie Diana.

Prairie Ridge d. Lake Zurich: At Village Green, the Bears (216) got edged out by the Wolves (215).

Aine Mattera led Lake Zurich with a 46.

Warren d. Lakes: At Antioch Golf Course, the visiting Blue Devils shot a 212 to capture the North Suburban Conference match.

Lakes (306) was led by Lauren Clark's personal-best 56.
