Missing Wisconsin boy found alive in Fox River

NEENAH, Wis. - A missing 6-year-old boy was found in the Fox River in Neenah.

Police say the child was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center, but there's no word on his condition. Authorities say the child was reported missing about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Park.

Officers and volunteers began searching the park and area residents were notified with a reverse 911 phone system. Fire and rescue personnel searched near the river bank because of the possibility that the boy was playing near the water. They found the child in the river. But, authorities did not have information about how long the boy was in water.

Fire and rescue personnel cleared the scene about 6:15 p.m.
