Saying 'bless you' an act of kindness

I'm very concerned for this young girl in Tennessee who got sent to the principal's office at her school for just saying "bless you" when someone sneezed.

I feel that the young girl should be restored to her school and all classrooms immediately, without penalty. It's a very sad day when person cannot be concerned and compassionate to her fellow classmates.

I feel that the teacher should be suspended, not the young girl. I admire this young girl for being herself and really doing the right thing. Guess this teacher might have me in prison now, because I always say, "God bless you, may you live a good, happy, healthy life."

I think a kind blessing on someone is one of the very nicest things we can say, even to a stranger. I hope this newspaper has the courage to print this letter expressing my opinion.
