District 220 continues sign replacement plan

Four Barrington Area Unit School District 220 schools will have new exterior signs installed over the summer, according to a release by the district.

The process began two weeks ago when Barrington High School's marquee was taken down, as well as the signs at Arnett C. Lines Elementary, Sunny Hill Elementary. The sign for Station Middle School is currently being constructed.

The upgrades are part of an ongoing effort to give a facelift to the signs at all district schools. Next summer Barbara B. Rose Elementary, Countryside Elementary, Grove Avenue Elementary and Roslyn Road Elementary will receive new signs. Hough Street Elementary and North Barrington Elementary will receive new signs during the summer of 2016.

The signs at Prairie Middle School, the Early Learning Center and the James Street Administrative Buildings were replaced in 2011.
