Backpack safety workshops:
Chiro One chiropractic offices will offer free backpack safety workshops as part of their back-to-school community outreach on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 7 to 8 p.m. The events will include backpack safety checks by a Chiro One doctor, a short workshop on proper backpack wearing and related safety concerns, door prizes and a raffle. Attendees are encouraged to bring their children and their backpacks to prepare for a spine-smart school year. Thirty-four Chiro One chiropractic offices will host the August workshop events.
