Free senior fair:
A free senior fair will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the Village of Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83. The fair, sponsored by state Sen. Melinda Bush, is designed to give seniors access to services and an understanding of available resources. Attendees can receive free health screenings and receive information on reduced cost health services. Updated information on senior driving and disability parking, senior fraud, senior transportation, housing and programming and benefit information also will be available.
