Truck crashes into building in Palatine

A pickup truck crashed into a building late Friday afternoon in a residential area north of downtown Palatine, authorities said.

Police and fire crews were dispatched to the crash scene at the corner of Brockway and Colfax streets at 5 p.m., according to an official from the Palatine Fire Department.

No injuries were reported.

Police didn't immediately provide further details, and it was unclear whether any citations were issued to the driver.
