Rock and Roll Concert Series tix go available Saturday

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for the Grand Victoria Casino's second annual Rock and Roll Concert Series at Festival Park in Elgin.

All concerts will offer reserved seating and general admission lawn seating with a tiered pricing structure based on proximity to the stage.

Tickets go on sale for the following:

• A "Hair Band Heavyweights" show June 22, starring Vince Neil of Motley Crue and hosted by Eddie Trunk of VH1's "That Metal Show," featuring Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Tom Keifer of Cinderella.

• Three Dog Night July 3 with California Transit Authority featuring Danny Serpahine and Bill Champlin, formerly of the rock group Chicago.

• Fourth of July fireworks celebration with Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Dennis DeYoung (formerly of Styx) and the Chicago 6.

• Marshall Tucker Band Aug. 3, with Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, and the Artimus Pyle Band.

• Deep Purple Aug. 20, with The Orchestra featuring former members of Electric Light Orchestra.

A July 20 concert by country star Josh Turner goes on sale at 10 a.m. May 24.

The Grand Victoria is at 250 S. Grove Ave. Festival Park is adjacent to the casino at 132 S. Grove Ave.
