Elgin 11, Streamwood 3: Jessica Rago was 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and hit her fifth home run of the season as the Maroons (12-14, 7-6) won in the Upstate Eight River. Kelly Bremer went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI for Elgin, while Sabrina Stockman (2-1) pitched a complete game and went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Jenna Lombardo (2-for-4, 2B), Anna Eckholm (2-for-5, 2B) and Jennah Perryman (2-for-4, 2B) also contributed to the win. Jessica Daley took the loss for the Sabres (4-13, 3-11).

Geneva 6, Larkin 2: Freshman Sophie Young hit her first high school home run for the Royals (3-18, 1-11) in the UEC River loss. Sarah Hansen was Larkin's losing pitcher.

Westminster falls twice: The Warriors (7-10) were no-hit in Game 1 of a 7-0, 14-2 nonconference doubleheader loss to Ottawa Marquette. Rachel Fugiel allowed just 3 hits in the opener and Becca Fugiel took the loss in Game 2.
