Police: Masked robbers take lottery tickets, more from Hanover Park 7-Eleven

Hanover Park police are searching for two masked robbers who took cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets from a 7-Eleven early Thursday, authorities said.

One of the suspects was armed with a pellet-type gun, police said in a news release.

Shortly after 1 a.m., the men, wearing black clothing, went into the store on the 1600 block of Walnut Avenue.

Police also are looking for a third person who may be a witness to the crime. This person left the store shortly before the armed robbery, police said.
