Learn about alpacas at Waldron farm open house

If you've never seen an alpaca up close, here is your chance.

Waldron Grove Alpaca Farm will hold an open house from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, at the farm, 39W856 McDonald Road, Elgin.

View a herd of 30 award-winning Suri alpacas. Learn about the care of alpacas, or inquire about purchasing an alpaca of your own.

There will be a farm store with alpaca yarn, fiber, accessories, and clothing for sale, felt and fiber demonstrations, spinning demonstrations, kits to learn felting and alpaca fiber art. Admission and parking are free.
