Condolences on loss of great sports writer
The paper's tribute to Tim Sassone last month was outstanding.
I could almost feel the affection shared with the respect that Mike Imrem and Mike Spellman have for Tim.
The Daily Herald has the very best sports coverage of any newspaper in all of Northern Illinois.
Despite the loss of a very important member of the sports department, the quality of the sports reporting will continue because of the very capable staff who make the sports section so interesting and readable.
