Haley Spannraft got the win in the circle, allowing 3 hits with 2 strikeouts, 3 walks and no earned runs.
Richmond-Burton 10, CL South 1: The Gators gave up 9 runs in the final four innings in losing their season opener. Sam McLean was 3-for-4 while Erin Yazel and Hailee Massie each went 2-for-3 for Crystal Lake South. Kim Woods drove in the Gators' only run.
