Ash tree treatment beginning in Naperville

Treatment of healthy parkway ash trees in Naperville is expected to begin in early April and continue through June as the city tries to save its 15,000 ashes from the emerald ash borer.

Homeowners with trees that will be treated will be notified by a flier hung on their door. Residents also will be contacted if a tree in their parkway needs to be removed.

Residents can track treatment progress of trees in their area, find out the size of their tree and what treatment has been completed at naperville.il.us/eab.aspx.
