Candidates don't offer specifics

As an immigrant who became a citizen of this great country so I could vote, I am appalled by the lack of respect that the current principal candidates for governor have for that privilege. Voters should be given specific choices for their decisions.

So far the Illinois primary has presented individuals who espouse reforms but provide no particular approaches toward realizing that goal, especially regarding the serious financial crisis. Each candidate wants to govern but none of them of either party wants to lead.

How can citizens make meaningful decisions in the voting booth?
