Running just to satisfy his ego

Billionaire Bruce Rauner is spending millions of dollars to buy the Republican nomination for Illinois governor. But, you need more than money and attack ads to win an election. You have to have a plan to fix the budget and reform the pension mess that doesn't just penalize the people who have paid in to retirement.

So far, Rauner is just criticizing "career politicians" and urging term limits. And we all know that as soon as any politician gets in office they abandon their pledge to adhere to term limits.

If Rauner's statements about reducing the Illinois minimum wage are any indication, he is a wealthy candidate far removed from being concerned about issues that matter to the average voters. He's just spending his money to satisfy is ego.
