This would be funny if it weren't so sad
Republicans are fond of saying that the best way to stimulate the economy is by seeing to it that people have more money in their pockets to spend.
Funny how they only seem to say this when they're talking about cutting taxes for the wealthy. When it comes to putting more money in people's pockets by paying them a living wage, or even just paying them a minimum wage properly adjusted for inflation, they're opposed to it. Funny, that is, if it wasn't so sad.
