Vote for true conservative in Dist. 51

Bob Bednar is the conservative choice for state House District 51.

Bob Bednar agreed to run against Ed Sullivan for District 51 on the Republican ticket because Bob is a genuine conservative. He fully supports the Republican platform, unlike Sullivan, who voted for same-sex marriage, and supported a bill to virtually eliminate parental notification of a minor girl's abortion.

Bednar was the Lake Country Republican Central Committee Treasurer for over three years. He helped elect Joe Walsh in 2010 and has been an active precinct committeeman since 1992. That is a lot of commitment to the party.

In spite of the many glossy mailers constituents have been receiving from Sullivan testifying to his goal to fix Illinois, he has voted for tax increases and against tax reductions 12 times in the last 11 years.

In addition, he holds two full-time government positions (Fremont Township assessor as well as state representative - earning two government pensions also).

We in District 51 deserve a candidate who will vote for our cherished values and to hold the line on taxes and spending.

Let's fix Illinois by electing someone who means what he says.
