Government can't just assess blame

Blaming everyone else has become the standard line in today's politics. Today's politicians see companies relocating their businesses for more favorable environments and they immediately blame the businesses for being "traitors" and "unpatriotic."

The reality is the policies enacted by the politicians have become so intolerable as to drive businesses from their home states. Moving is disruptive for anyone, especially businesses. But when government continually lives outside its means and looks to business for higher and higher taxes, the trend becomes disturbing. It's the government's job to foster business, not the other way around. And it is certainly not in the people's best interest to see their elected representatives berate, cajole and humiliate the very people who would otherwise be creating jobs, livelihoods and futures.

If the only thing left is to blame, then it really is time for a change.
