Millionaire wasting our tax dollars?

In the Daily Herald, Gov. Rauner complained about Gov. Quinn spending excessive moneys on state workers.

Associated Press has found that annual salaries in Rauner's top 10 employees exceed comparable aides in the Quinn administration by over $380,000 per year.

Examples are Rauner's deputy Gov. $198,000 to Quinn's $150,000; Rauner's chief of staff $180,000, a 38 percent increase over Quinn's chief of staff; Rauner's chief executive assistant, Holly Griff $135,000, which is 94 percent more than Quinn's executive assistant.

I hope that all of you people who voted for Rauner are appreciating all that he is doing for his staff. Cost cutting is what he promised, but that certainly is not what he is doing.

A millionaire wasting our tax dollars. Go figure.
