The driver whose semitrailer truck crashed into rescue vehicles assisting a disabled semi on Interstate 88 near Eola Road Monday was released from the DuPage County jail last night after posting bond. The crash killed an Illinois Tollway employee and seriously injured a state trooper. Full story.

Coroner: Fire-heated air killed Naperville couple

A Naperville couple who died after a fire raged through their home last moth died from inhaling hot, smoke-filled air, a coroner determined. Tom and Jan Lambert were remembered at a memorial service over the weekend. The couple’s caretaker remains critically injured from the blaze and isn’t likely to recover, his family said. Full story.

Hanover Park shows off library facelift
