UIC to offer accelerated MBA program in May
The University of Illinois at Chicago says it plans to offer an accelerated master’s in business administration degree beginning in May.
Students will be able to go full-time for 12 months and get an MBA concentration in financial markets and risk management or international management.
University officials say students in the program will stay together through graduation, which will allow them to make lasting professional contacts. They also expect a large number of students from Asian countries, which they say will represent some of the world’s fastest-growing economies.
The application deadline for the May financial markets and risk management track is March 15. The deadline for the August strategic and international business management track is June 15.
UIC has about 27,500 students.
