Columnist takes the “I” out of column

Congrats to Jim Slusher for his column of Jan. 16, which totally avoids use of the “I” pronoun or its derivatives. I had chided him in a Dec. 26, letter for an earlier column in which he had used “I,” “I’m” or “I’ll” 36 times and “my” six times.

I love the Daily Herald. Sure, it makes a few typos now and then and occasionally trips on a headline, but, hey, overall it’s awesome!
