Who in the Sam Hill can claim gift lost in Geneva?

Attention, Samanthas of the western suburbs, particularly those near Geneva: your uncle may not have forgotten to give you a Christmas present.

Instead, there’s a chance it ended up in Sam Hill’s yard.

Hill, who lives on Southhampton Court in Geneva, was clearing snow along the parkway in front of his house Friday when he spied a red envelope.

Only the name “Samantha” was written on the outside, and an uncle’s first name on the inside. It contained an iTunes gift card.

The former alderman said he hates the thought of the girl not getting her present. He said there is no Samantha in his neighborhood.

So, if you think it may be yours — or if you were the would-be gift-giver — you can call Hill, at (630) 232-8313, to get it.
