Forests a better place for cell towers

Forests a better place for cell towers

In the same article on the ComEd plan to put in high tension power lines and towers, ComEd states that the World Health Organization has never found a definitive link between exposure to electrical or magnetic fields and health problems such as cancer.

Yet in the same article a naturalist states that the reason not to put those lines through the forest preserves is that they don’t want cancer causing lines through our forest preserves. I guess these lines will only cause cancer if they are put there and not through individually owned farms and properties with homes on them.

I feel the forest preserves are actually a better place to put these towers in and would be far less disruptive.
