Why not focus on the ones in charge?

This is in reply to David Mitchell of Carpentersville. He made remarks about Allen Skillcorn in his condescending letter about the Tea Party.

I do not fully endorse the Tea Party, but then it is the Republicans’ answer to the Democratic liberals. David’s contention is that Skillcorn tried to stop a proposed tax increase that would be used to provide services to Illinois residents with serious disabilities. That they have been waiting 10 years for the tax dollars does not mean anything to David. Why does he not focus on the ones in charge for the last 10 years to provide the funding for this?

Where has the money been for the last 10 years and to increase taxes to supplement the last 10 years of negligence is to add more slush money to the pile. Ask your politicians: Where is the money from the last 10 years that were earmarked for these services?

Maybe it’s time to replace them if they can’t give you an answer.
