Registration open for Walker summit in Pembine

MADISON, Wis. — Registration is now open for Gov. Scott Walker’s economic development summit next month in Pembine.

The two-day meeting starting Dec. 16 is designed to focus on the challenges and opportunities of northern Wisconsin’s economy, focusing on small business assistance and regulatory reform.

Walker says the meeting will focus heavily on the relationship between businesses and state agencies.

Walker and leaders of nine state agencies are scheduled to attending the meeting in Pembine, which is in far northeast Wisconsin near the border with Michigan.
