Prospect hosts 'Not So Scary' Haunted High School

Prospect High School's Student Council will host its eighth annual “Not So Scary” Haunted High School on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The safe Halloween alternative event for young children will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Prospect High School, 801 W. Kensington Road in Mount Prospect.

With assistance from Prospect clubs and sports teams, the event is open to all area kids from preschool/kindergarten through fifth grade. Children should arrive in costume and be ready to collect candy and treats, play games, and join in a variety of entertaining Halloween activities. Attendees must be accompanied by parents.

Admission to the event is a donation of nonperishable/canned food for the local food pantry, and all participants should enter through door No. 30 at the high school.
