Dining events: TL's Pink Lady honors breast cancer month

TL's Pink Lady roll

In honor of national breast cancer awareness month, TL's Four Seasons created the Pink Lady roll and will donate proceeds from sales to breast cancer education. Made with pink soy nori wrapped with tuna, super white tuna and asparagus topped with an avocado lychee sauce, the special roll costs $10.95 and is available through the end of the month.

McChesney's pairs dinner with Two Bros.

Two Brothers joins McChesney's Pub for a fall-inspired four-course beer dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. Food includes a frisee salad of roasted beets, goat cheese, candied pecans and raspberry balsamic vinaigrette; roasted butternut squash ravioli with burnt butter sauce; bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin in a beer reduction, honey roasted root vegetables and whipped sweet potatoes; and chocolate ganache cake with milk stout ice cream and whipped cream. Beers to be poured include Domaine DuPage, Prairie Path Ale, Bitter End and Left Hand Milk Stout. $45 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

Red Lobster celebrates fall with a new dessert: pumpkin pie in a jar, a layered pumpkin and cream cheese mousse with a graham cracker crust topped with sugared pecans, for $5.49. It's available for a limited time.
