Children’s Advocacy Center hosts casino night fundraiser

The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County is hosting a night of casino games, food, music and raffles from 7 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the Westin Chicago North Shore, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wheeling.

Proceeds will benefit the agency’s mission to help children affected by sexual and physical abuse.

Registration is $50 per person and includes two hours of beer, wine, soda and food, along with $10 in casino chips. Local restaurants contributing food include Twin Peaks, The RAM, Saranello’s, Wa-Pa-Ghetti’s, Walmart Wheeling, Thai Little House and Pita House. Cooper’s Hawk will also host a wine tasting. Raffle prizes range from Bears and Bulls tickets to a trip to Kohler Spa.
